Music ahead of or behind the lights?

Bluetooth speakers and car stereos add a small delay. Slide right if the music sounds late.

Our street's lights, dancing together

Craftsman Christmas links the holiday lights on our street so they flash and sparkle to the same Christmas music, all at the same moment.

How it works

Your lights

The Govee Wi-Fi Christmas lights you already have. No changes to them.

A small box

Christmas music plays, and every house on the street lights up on the beat.

Joining takes about 15 minutes

  1. Plug in your box next to your router.
  2. Turn on "LAN Control" for each strand in the Govee Home app.
  3. Sign in here with your address and the street passcode from your flyer. Join the show
  4. Pick your lights and who runs them.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The organizer provides the box.

Will it use a lot of internet?

No, only tiny timing messages, much less than a video call.

What if my internet goes down?

Your lights keep the current show going, and rejoin by themselves when the internet is back.

Can I still use the Govee app?

Yes. Set your house to Off or My own first, or the show may take your lights back on the next beat.

Which lights work?

Govee Wi-Fi lights with "LAN Control" in the Govee app. Most of their Christmas strands and string lights have it.

How do I leave?

Choose Off on your house page, or unplug the box.
